Fashion- never sacrifice style because of the rain

Tip #1: The perfect boots

I am sure you all know about hunter boots. I own the tall navy pair and love how sleek they look. I also own a pair of grey leg warmers and have always wanted to layer the two together, with the leg warmers peeking out1 Believe to or not I found the picture to the right on google, and now you can see exactly how cute rain boots can look by just adding something underneath them. You can choose leg warmers, knee socks, or even, "wellies." See the picture below of what they are.

Tip #2: Stylize your jacket
The most unfortunate part of the rain is having to wear the unforgiving... rain jacket! If course there are some really cute rain jackets such as trend coats, which come in multiple styles, but not everyone owns one! So, if you are stuck with the, "yellow rain jacket," here are a few tips on how you can dress it up. 
1) look for a jacket with a  cinched waist line so that you are not lost in a boxy silhouette.
2) adding your favorite sweatshirt underneath will not only add some warmth, but if you take off the raincoat's hood, and put on the sweatshirt one, the contrast of color and textures will look good.

I love butter, sweatshirts for the extreme softness and style. I suggest layering a navy butter sweatshirt beneath a cinched yellow rain coat.
