Beauty- May Favorites

Hey girls! We're back with another favorites post, but this time it is the May edition. I have five absolute favorites from the month, each awesome in their own way. What are your favorites of the month, and which of these products will most likely try? Tell us your thoughts in the comments. (Keep reading at the end to see one product that didn't meet my expectations from the month of May!) Enjoy, xoxo- The Glam Girls
Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Hibiscus Creamy Body Wash
This is a super simple body wash that doesn't have any harsh exfoliants or chemicals. This smells exactly like a coconut, which I think goes perfectly with the summer months, and will fill your shower with the delightful scent. It lathers up into a thick pillow of foam, which envelops your body with the delicious fragrance. A super big plus to this body wash, and all organix products, is that they are eco-friendly!
Pond's Dry Skin Cream
I've used this product for many years and can always find new ways to use this cream, and always get great results. Lately I have been using it after I shave, along with the next product in this post. It is a gentle cream that does it's job, yet is super thin. Another use of this cream is that it is a great make-up remover. When my sister performed in the Nutcracker, I remember sitting backstage where each dancer would apply/remove their makeup. This product was in almost all the dancer's bags because if you rub into cheeks, then swipe off with a cotton pad, your blush (or face makeup) is removed.
Sabon Creamy Carrot Scrub
click here to see my review/about the product description, which was in a previous post. As for what I do with the product, I usually use this after I shave. In the shower I shave, and then once I am out of the shower, I rub this into my legs. After, I remove the product with either a damp towel, or just rinse my legs in the shower. Use Pond's cream afterwards, and your legs are amazingly smooth! I also will use this as an all-over-body scrub, and the results are pretty great as well.
Nexxus Pro-Mend Split End Binding Targeted Leave-in Treatment Cream
I got this from Costco because it came with the pack of Pro-Mend Shampoo/Conditioner. I wash my hair every other day, and on those days, I apply this to the ends of my hair, plus about 1-2 inches above the ends. I found that the ends of my hair have been less brittle, and more soft/durable ever since I've used the product. (For a full review, comment saying you would like one)
Jo Malone Peony and Moss Cologne
I love this perfume, and have gotten so many compliments on the scent whenever I wear it. I only have a tester, and am upset I didn't purchase it earlier because it is limited edition. I believe it is in the, "London Blooms," collection, but I am not positive on that. It is a soft, floral scent that is a beautiful, all-day perfume.
My One Upset: Olay Purely Pristine Shower Gel
This shower gel does have good qualities: exfoliation, lather, but an unfortunate scent. I am to blame, as I am the one that chose the product, but I just found the scent to be fake rather than fresh. However, that is just my opinion. I probably would have LOVED it if the scent had been different. Have you tried this shower gel? If so, what are your thoughts? Leave your opinion in the comments below.

  2. I also have Pond's Cream. It is so smooth. I have not used it that much, but it smells amazing. It is really thin and silky.
