Beauty- DIY Spa Peppermint Salt Rub

Hi everyone! This is the final post of the DIY Spa Product Mini-Series. We have shared recipes about a gentle face mask, a sugar scrub for your feet, a chamomile hair rinse, and this week will be on a bath and body product. The recipes in this mini-series can all be found in Klutz's The Body Book, so if you are interested in learning more DIY products, I strongly recommend this book.
Unfortunately, Klutz no longer carries the exact copy I have been showing on the blog, but it is still available on amazon, and Klutz has a very similar book (and I think it includes almost all the same recipes as The Body Book) called The Natural Beauty Book, so definitely check those out!
So this final DIY recipe in the series is a bath and body product, and it is also one of my favorites. This peppermint salt rub is great exfoliator because of the salt, the oil is very moisturizing, and the mint is invigorating.
The Ingredients:
1 cup fine sea salt
2 Tbsp light oil (I use canola)
5-6 drops of peppermint essential oil
How To:
Put salt in a bowl and add oils. Use your hands to mix well. Buff onto body, and massage it into your skin for the best results. Store in a covered, plastic container.
